National Intelligence Bureau Hosts Maharashtra Idol National Award Ceremony



Mumbai, 2nd June 2024 – The National Intelligence Bureau held the prestigious National Award ceremony yesterday, honoring 15 distinguished individuals with the Maharashtra Idol National Award for their exceptional contributions to society. The event took place on 1st June, recognizing awardees from Sangli, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Nandurbar.

The awardees included prominent figures such as Colonel Sameer Mohite, Motor Police Inspector of the Vehicle Department Surjit Singh Rajput, Dr. Irfana Patil, and Dr. Rajendra Nanavare. These individuals have made significant impacts in their respective fields and were celebrated for their dedication and service.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries including Shivaji Shinge, President of Yuva Jatar Sangha, Sagar Patil of SP-9 Channel, journalist Prataprao Shinde, social activist Manoj Shinde, Sarika Bhosale, Secretary of Gargi’s DID Foundation, and Anil Malvi, Secretary of Ramdas Athawale Pratishthan.

The entire program was meticulously organized by Dr. Maddy Tamgaonkar, Founder President of Gargi's DID Foundation and State Director of the National Intelligence Bureau. The event was expertly moderated by RJ Swapnil Panhalak, ensuring a smooth and engaging ceremony.

This celebration not only highlighted the exceptional work of the awardees but also emphasized the importance of recognizing and promoting social contributions. The National Intelligence Bureau remains committed to acknowledging and supporting individuals who strive for excellence and make meaningful contributions to society.

Dr. Rajendra Tatu Nanavare, a renowned chest specialist in Mumbai, has been honored and awarded by the National Intelligence bureau and also as a Chief guest in above award function for his contribution to public health. He has served in TB hospital in Mumbai for more than 35 years. Editorial contributions to the Indian Journal of TB and leadership in the National Bedakivlin Pilot Project are indicative of his research contributions.

He has been honored with the "Bharat Bhushan" award for his humanitarian efforts, organizing free medical camps, and promoting cultural events.
